It was a bit chilly and very early on the morning after the opening performance but the crew made me welcome and the tea helped too. We heard a fabulous local school Ukelele Band (Medina) which was terrific and met John Giddings, the promoter, too. Then the link to Christian in the London studio and time for lots of thank yous and farewells….. it’s been brillliant Absolute – thoroughly enjoyed it all and hope we’ll talk again …. keep whistling!
Isle of Wight festival honour, 10th June
David is proud to have been chosen to open the hugely popular Isle of Wight Rock Music festival this summer on the 10th of June. David will be at the event along with big names including Foo Fighters, Kings Of Leon, Kasabian, Pulp and Liam Gallagher’s Beady Eye.

Absolute Radio
Thanks to Absolute Radio and The Christian O’ Connell Breakfast Show, David has been invited to open the Isle of Wight Festival on 10th of June. The invite came after David appeared as a phone in guest on the popular radio show. Since then David has been a regular guest whistling pieces by some of the artists who will be appearing at the festival, Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, Kasabian, Pulp and Tom Jones.
David goes back to school
David has gone back to school. Not learning but sharing his unique talent with spellbound pupils from classes 3 through to 7. From a casual invitation David has developed his workshops to produce a series of gradually more challenging interactive sessions that bring the inner music out of both boys and girls, as they discover their whistle or perfect their technique.
