Here’s a little something from the archives to brighten up your day: David performing two operatic classics; O Sole Mio and Nessun Dorma.
The first piece (made famous in the 1980s in the Walls Cornetto adverts) was written in 1898. The title translates literally as “My Sunshine”.
Nessun Dorma is taken from the opera Turandot, but is perhaps best known as the title music from the BBC’s coverage of the 1990 football World Cup.
Many thanks to Fraser Pearson, talented film maker, who edited this video.
David is thrilled to be invited back to appear in four concerts across the two islands in March this year. With solo performances accompanied by some of the leading bands in NZ, David is set to repeat his success in other countries and inspire a love of whistling as a true art form and respected musical instrument. Looking forward to renewing old acquaintances and making new ones…
