David is thrilled to be invited back to appear in four concerts across the two islands in March this year. With solo performances accompanied by some of the leading bands in NZ, David is set to repeat his success in other countries and inspire a love of whistling as  a true art form and respected musical instrument. David recently appeared in 2 sell out concerts in the USA and received full standing ovations.
The first concert was in Arlington Heights, Chicago, backed by the Prairie Brass Band, conductor Dallas Niermeyer. This was David’s second appearance here and the audience were shouting for more at the end!
The Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville Illinois was the venue for the 2nd concert, appearing with the Concert band and Wind Symphony, conducted by Dr John Korak and Dr John Bell respectively. Again the crowd loved the performance.

As well as experiencing some very stormy weather in Spain last week, David appeared as guest soloist in a concert in Torrevieja near Alicante and “went down a storm ” with the packed audience! Backed by “Just Brass”, a group of British brass players who have set up home on the Costa Blanca, David had the crowd shouting for more and many people said after the concert that they hoped that he would make a return visit.
